June Session

Bros Brews & Books

At this session of Bros Brews & Books, we’ll check out Hugh Howey’s Wool and the Left Coast Barrell Aged Voo Doo Stout.

San Clemente’s Left Coast Voo Doo Stout is a full bodied, dark brew that is rich and malty with plenty of roasted barley character. This hearty stout is layered with flavors of roasted barley, chocolate, and coffee coming from the highest quality imported malts. Its creamy long lasting head completes the brew, tempting your taste buds to be spellbound.

As far as what book we’ll discuss, we’ll cover Hugh Howey’s Wool.

This is the story of mankind clawing for survival, of mankind on the edge. The world outside has grown unkind, the view of it limited, talk of it forbidden. But there are always those who hope, who dream. These are the dangerous people, the residents who infect others with their optimism. Their punishment is simple. They are given the very thing they profess to want: They are allowed outside.

I’ll print out a few tasting sheets for the beer
